Who we are

Slotix (getslotix.in) is a WhatsApp booking automation service for local businesses in India, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. If you have questions about this policy, email us at sales@getslotix.in.

What data we collect

• Business name, owner name, phone number, and email — collected when you submit the interest form on our website.
• Appointment and customer data (names, phone numbers, service history) — collected on behalf of our business clients as part of delivering the booking service.
• WhatsApp messages — processed via Twilio to power the booking bot. Twilio's own privacy policy applies to message transmission.
• Usage data — basic page visit information (no personal identifiers) for improving the product.

How we use it

• To contact you about setting up your Slotix trial or subscription.
• To operate the WhatsApp booking bot and dashboard on behalf of business clients.
• To send appointment reminders and booking confirmations to end customers on behalf of our clients.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Where data is stored

All data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1), keeping your data within India in line with applicable data localisation principles under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

Data retention

Business client data is retained for the duration of the subscription and up to 90 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted on request. End-customer booking data is retained as long as the business client account is active.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing sales@getslotix.in. We will respond within 7 business days.

Cookies

Slotix uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in to the dashboard. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
